See how a webpage looked at a particular time in the past

I have been wondering for long time to see how Google's homepage would have looked 6 or 7 years back. And finally I found just what i was looking for a long time. Before that I tried google's cache but they keep the most latest of the webpages, so stopped looking there. I have never expected that there would be someone else who would be doing something
like storing webpages according to the months and years in their archives. The web is full of surprises.


Here is how you can see how a webpage looked at a particular time in the past ?

1) Go to Way Back Machine .

2) Enter the web address (URL) of the page and click Take me Back! button.

It will automatically show you its archive sorted according to the dates at which a screenshot of that webpage have been taken. I have taken some screenshots of google's homepage using wayback machine archives. I am sharing them with you. Here :
